Corporate Account Manager (UK)

The Corporate Account Manager (UK) will be responsible for supporting and growing an international corporate automotive account, including maintaining superior customer service, overall account management and development of portfolio in the UK and Europe. As such, the ability to travel within Europe on a monthly basis will be required. A second European language will assist in the role. The ideal candidate possesses successful senior account management and sales experience of IT complex solutions with one or more major accounts. Experience with Sales Pipeline management, Miller Heiman Large Account Management practices (or equivalent), and knowledge of Salesforce is an asset. You are eager to get in on the ground level and be a major force in a growing international organization.

Based out of our UK office in Bracknell, you will work closely with our UK Regional Managers and Dealer Care teams, along with our corporate account team in our Winnipeg, Canada Head Office.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Account Planning & Management

  • Active account management on a daily basis, including working with the client onsite in project delivery and planning activities
  • Provide direction and oversight to the delivery teams working on the client deliverables
  • Lead and execute large account management plans (strategy down to tactical execution)
  • Lead the development and delivery of client presentations (from project status, to new project plans, to longer range opportunities)
  • Prepare and present new statements of work
  • Facilitate a healthy renewal of reoccurring revenue
  • Conduct opportunity assessments; Facilitate Bid/No-Bid processes
  • Lead and prepare proposals as required
  • Work with other departments to ensure effective regular communication and processes are in place and being adhered to
  • Identify and implement synergies in terms of product go-to-market strategies
  • Demonstrate that DMT is a client partner that brings business value day in, day out
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions
  • Participate and/or lead client contract renewals including financials
  • Present and articulate ideas to executive staff (internally and externally)
  • Participate in OEM meetings

Financial Management

  • Prepare account budgets in alignment with account plans
  • Prepare accurate rolling 12-month monthly sales forecasts
  • Responsible for timely submission of your accounts sales forecasts
  • Conduct review of sales forecasts with DMT Leadership Team
  • Work with finance to initiate timely invoicing
  • Support finance with Corporate Account receivables as necessary
  • Setup and review post project analysis and budgets

Delivery

  • Provide project priority input to delivery teams
  • Ensure timely decisions are provided to delivery teams
  • Provide guidance to delivery teams as needed with respect to client requirements
  • Ensure high client satisfaction

Reporting

  • Facilitate weekly account reviews with Sr. Director of Account Management that includes:
    • Highlights of account
      • Review of account strategy
      • Customer Satisfaction / Account Health
      • Customer dynamics (staff changes, funding situation, etc.)
      • Delivery Status
      • Sales Pipeline (Projects, Maintenance)
      • Financial Forecast
      • Activity from Last Period
      • Planned activity for next period
      • Submit timely expense reports adhering to company policies

Travel Expectations

  • Intermittent travel to existing and prospective accounts within Europe

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years technology specific sales experience
  • Sales management experience an asset
  • Experienced with overseeing enterprise-level initiatives and working with both sales and delivery teams in key accounts
  • Knowledge and experience of the automotive industry an asset
  • Experience in managing client accounts and associated profitability
