Manager, Dealer Care & Client Services

DMT is seeking an experienced individual with automotive dealership experience in the role of either General Sales Manager or General Manager for the position of Manager, Dealer Care & Client Services (“MDCCS”). The MDCCS is responsible for managing and providing direction to DMT’s Dealer Care and Client Services teams.

Reporting to the VP, Dealer Sales & Support, you will gain familiarity with our product set in order to provide outstanding customer service to our clients. Your strong customer service experience and leadership skills will not only ensure our teams meet their objectives in supporting our dealer network across Canada, but also identify opportunities to promote DMT’s products and services.

The position involves…

  • Providing business direction to DMT’s Dealer Care & Client Services teams
  • Overseeing execution of client quarterly calls
  • Overseeing execution of Dealer Maturity Scorecard reviews
  • Defining new services, including developing presentation and marketing material
  • Overseeing the monitoring of RAPID! Response usage by the dealerships, including configuration and responses
  • Focussing on customer service, contributing to DMT’s dealer retention
  • Coaching of the two teams day to day
  • Conducting staff performance and salary reviews
  • Reporting on each department’s KPI’s
  • Reporting to VP Dealer Sales & Support and working closely with the Regional Manager Team

Our ideal candidate…

  • 2+ years of automotive sales experience as a General Sales Manager or General Manager
  • Strong leadership, team building and coaching skills
  • Possesses a strong customer focus and results oriented personality
  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
  • Excellent communicator with ability to convey messages in an organized, clear and effective manner
  • Demonstrated team-playing attitude
  • Strong time and self-management skills
  • A high propensity to learn, a love of technology, and an ability to excel in a fast paced work environment
  • Goes beyond job requirements to seek opportunities and generate ideas for improvements
  • Possesses a relevant University Degree, College Diploma
  • Bilingual (English and French an asset)
  • Good Internet skills – SEO/ SEM knowledge an asset
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords and other related tools
  • Understanding of and engagement in social media
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
