Sr. Corporate Account Manager (Media Site Product Portfolio)

The Senior Corporate Account Manager will be responsible for comprehensive global Account Management of our Media Site product portfolio which services Public Relations teams in three continents. The role will be based in Winnipeg, and includes participation at major worldwide AutoShows such as those in Geneva, Detroit, Frankfurt and Paris. You will be responsible for growing existing global accounts, maintaining superior customer service, and for overall revenue management. The ideal candidate will possess successful experience within Complex IT Solutions Selling, most likely from an IT Consulting background with experience in Sales. The portfolio includes major automotive brands such as Hyundai Motor America, Kia Motors America, Volvo Cars Corporation, Nissan Europe, Honda Europe, and others. Travel will be required to Europe and/or within North America on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Account Planning & Management

  • Lead a team in the account management of the portfolio of accounts; take direct responsibility for managing some accounts as needed
  • Provide account management direction and oversight
  • Lead and execute large account management plans (strategy down to tactical execution)
  • Prepare and present new statements of work
  • Facilitate a healthy renewal of reoccurring revenue
  • Conduct opportunity assessments; Facilitate Bid/No-Bid processes
  • Lead and prepare proposals as required
  • Lead and prepare client presentations including new idea generation, support of RFP presentations, or general account status
  • Work with other departments to ensure effective regular communication and processes are in place and being adhered to
  • Identify and implement synergies in terms of product go-to-market strategies
  • Demonstrate that DMT is a client partner that brings business value day in, day out
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with key accounts
  • Participate and/or lead client contract renewals including financials
  • Present and articulate ideas to executive staff (internally and externally)
  • Participate in OEM meetings

Financial Management

  • Prepare account budgets in alignment with account plans
  • Prepare accurate rolling 12-month monthly sales forecasts
  • Conduct review of sales forecasts with PR Leadership Team
  • Responsible for timely submission of your accounts sales forecasts
  • Work with finance to initiate timely invoicing
  • Support finance with Corporate Account receivables as necessary
  • Setup and review post project analysis and budgets

Delivery

  • Provide project priority input to delivery teams
  • Ensure timely decisions are provided to delivery teams
  • Provide guidance to delivery teams as needed with respect to client requirements
  • Ensure high client satisfaction

Reporting

  • Facilitate monthly account reviews with PR Leadership Team that includes:
    • Highlights of each account
      • Review of account strategy
      • Customer Satisfaction / Account Health
      • Customer dynamics (staff changes, funding situation, etc.)
      • Delivery Status
      • Sales Pipeline (Projects, Maintenance)
      • Financial Forecast
      • Activity from Last Period
      • Planned activity for next period
  • Submit timely expense reports adhering to company policies

 Travel Expectations

  • Monthly travel to Europe and/or within North America expected

  • is able to motivate and engage others

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years technology specific sales experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a sales management role
  • Experienced with overseeing enterprise-level initiatives and working with both sales and delivery teams in key accounts
  • Knowledge and experience of the PR industry an asset
  • Knowledge of Salesforce an asset
  • Experience in managing client accounts and associated profitability
