WINNIPEG (March 18, 2013) – DMT Development Systems Group Inc. has named Glen Grist, a high-performance sales executive with experience in retail networks and IT services that improve productivity, to the post of Senior Director of Dealer Sales for Canada.
Grist will head the company’s sales to Canadian auto dealers and expand its sales force and training staff as part of a concerted focus on DMT’s growing portfolio of retail business clients. Grist will join the company on March 18, 2013, and report to DMT president Glen Demetrioff.
“Glen’s background supporting retail dealer networks and deep experience in managing the sales process of vital IT productivity tools gives him the overview to build, motivate and manage a sales force dedicated to our automotive dealer customers,” explains Demetrioff. “He has been at the centre of the exploding world of on-line commerce and customer relationship management. His 360-degree understanding of sales management will make him pivotal to helping our dealer customers succeed in a new era of selling.”
Grist comes to DMT with a résumé that includes business leadership at Xerox Global Services and national sales and account management at telecom giant MTS Allstream.
An MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba, augmented by sales leadership and training programs and recognition in sales achievement, have made Grist welcome at his alma mater as a dynamic teaching resource.
