FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California (September 6, 2011) – One of the most innovative sources of product and corporate information for journalists covering the auto industry, incorporating a colorful blog and active Twitter feed, has been launched by Hyundai Motor America.
The redesigned Hyundainews.com was created by DMT Development Systems Group Inc. of Winnipeg, and incorporates popular features like easy access to news releases and photos, videos and corporate contact information with a news alert subscription service, multiple image downloading live Twitter feed (@Hyundai.com), “Add This” social media sharing tool and a new blog. The site is available in English and Spanish.
The redesigned site is home to 3,300 images, 1,200 news releases plus facility information, vehicle pricing tools, corporate presentations and product specifications. A subscription service allows busy journalists to select areas of interest and be notified of the latest press releases and images as they become available.
DMT was selected for the assignment from a field of more than 20 companies. It is DMT’s second major project for HMA since providing the company with a system to help dealers improve how they handle the growing volume of leads that come from e-mail inquiries using a unique ‘mystery shopper’ technology that tells each dealer – and the company – how it treats prospective customers who prefer to shop on-line.
DMT serves global and Canadian-based auto manufacturers and their dealers with specialized and sophisticated systems that share information among companies, dealers and customers while improving lead management, customer relations management and their related business processes. A privately held company, DMT has posted double digit growth since its inception and employs more than 75 people at its headquarters on the campus of the University of Manitoba.
