Corporate Account Project Manager (UK)

DMT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This individual will follow industry and internal practices for managing projects, and be versatile at adapting customers’ changing needs into the end result. This position will appeal to someone with a technical background who enjoys working on variable sized software solutions within various client environments.

Working in our European Headquarters (UK office), you will have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on our European operation and grow with the Dealer Sales Division. You will be tasked with assisting on key projects and developing solid long lasting relationships with our OEM partners. As a member of our Corporate Account Management team you will be tasked with developing solid relationships with our clientele and business partners. You will plan, develop, execute, monitor and manage projects throughout Europe.

The position involves…

  • Project planning, documenting, monitoring, reporting, and managing project resources and deliverables including risk assessment
  • Interfacing with our Sales, Implementation, Technical, Training and dealer care teams
  • Develop a suitable project management methodology for Europe including documentation and reporting
  • Developing customer relationship in order to develop business and drive sales
  • Reviewing product usage and identifying opportunities that would benefit dealers and their sales teams
  • Prospecting and enhancing OEM and dealership usage of our products/features
  • Responding to dealership inquiries and product questions
  • Providing assistance/training in use of our products
  • Work closely with DMT’s area sales manager’s, trainers, and implementation team to ensure successful rollout of our products to entire dealer networks within the UK & Europe
  • Maintaining contact with your OEM accounts on a regular basis
  • Calling upon OEM's to serve them with additional information and assistance
  • Coaching OEM's and personnel in the use of our products and in industry best practices
  • Providing regular customer satisfaction calls
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all client interactions
  • Working with a variety of clients and/or internal representatives
  • Leading a large program, large projects and/or many variable sized projects at the same time
  • Developing and managing project plans, including estimating and controlling
  • Performing risk analysis and create mitigation plans and strategies
  • Managing project scope and changes in alignment with our customers’ needs
  • Liaising between the business community and the development team to assure successful customer solutions are developed
  • Reviewing product usage and identifying opportunities that would benefit dealers and their sales teams
  • Problem solving and creative solution development
  • Furthering the company’s best practices in this discipline

Our ideal candidate…

  • Has 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Has the ability to manage multiple projects at once with a varying number of team members
  • Has a proven record of leading projects to successful completion (on target, on time, on budget)
  • Has led several project teams
  • Has led software development projects
  • Has demonstrated ability to work with sales and marketing teams
  • Has a proven record of delivering technical solutions that meet business requirements
  • Has strong coordination skills
  • Has strong people management skills
  • Has strong risk and issue management experience
  • Has strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Is customer, detail and quality oriented
