Regional Sales Manager (London, UK)

DMT is looking for an accomplished sales professional who has experience in the automotive industry. You will work out of your regional area making daily sales and account management calls. The ability to make contact with senior executives and managers at automotive dealerships in your area is essential. You have a keen understanding of the online internet lead space, and an interest in helping dealerships capitalize on their online marketing efforts through the application of DMT’s products and services. The Role:

Ideally residing in the London area, you will have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact and grow with our company. You will be tasked with market development through sales and on-going account management for a near limitless set of automotive brands. Working from home, and on the road, you will be supported by our Dealer Care and Implementation teams located in our UK head office. This will require a fair amount of time meeting with clients onsite at their dealerships each and every day.

The position involves:

  • Securing sales of DMT services & solutions to automotive dealerships throughout your respective territory
  • Liaising with our OEM account, dealer care, & implementation teams
  • Investigating new opportunities for system enhancements or additional services
  • Tracking sales processes and providing on-going reporting to sales leadership using Salesforce
  • Day-to-day account management

Qualifications:

  • A successful track record in either business–to-business sales, account management or customer support
  • Sales experience related to the automotive industry is essential
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) and presentation skills
  • Digital product sales experience is an asset
  • Highly organized
  • Track record of over achieving sales targets
  • Ambitious, self-driven, customer-focused and independent
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools
  • An understanding of:
    • Online enquires/sales Internet Lead Management (ILM)
    • Web and Social Media Trends and technologies
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Dealership Management Systems (DMS)
    • Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset
