Sr. Corporate Sales Manager (UK)

The Sr. Corporate Sales Manager “Sr. CSM” will be responsible for prospecting and securing new corporate automotive (OEM) accounts based in UK. The Sr. CSM may be required to assist, as part of the Corporate Accounts Team, with other accounts within Europe. As such, the ability to travel within Europe may be required. The Sr. CSM should have successful senior automotive account sales experience with multiple major automotive accounts. The successful candidate will also have strong relationships with OEMs and Retailers in the UK. Experience with Sales Pipeline management, Miller Heiman Large Account Management practices (or equivalent) and knowledge of Salesforce are requirements for the role.

Based out of our office in Bracknell, the Sr. CSM will work closely with our UK Regional Managers and UK Operations Team, along with our Corporate Account Team and our Canadian GHQ.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following, while longer term there is opportunity to grow and lead others in this same discipline:

Sales

  • Perform market analysis to identify and assess growth opportunities 
  • Leverage strong relationships to agree client presentations
  • Develop and deliver client presentations
  • Lead and prepare proposals
  • Conduct opportunity assessments; Facilitate Bid/No-Bid processes
  • Secure new business; strategic, profitable, long-term, partnership
  • Prepare and present new SoWs (statements of work)
  • Work with other departments to ensure effective regular communication and processes are in place and being adhered to
  • Build personal credibility and manage internal and external networks/relationships
  • Create and manage short term and long term business plan
  • Identify and implement synergies in terms of product go-to-market strategies
  • Demonstrate that DMT is a client partner that brings business value day in, day out
  • Present and articulate ideas to executive staff (DMT and client)
  • Participate in regional / national OEM/dealer meetings
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Director Corporate Accounts

Financial Management

  • Prepare accurate rolling 12-month monthly sales forecasts
  • Responsible for timely submission of account sales forecasts
  • Conduct review of sales forecasts with Director Corporate Accounts
  • Work with finance to initiate timely invoicing
  • Support finance with Corporate Account receivables as necessary

Reporting

  • Deliver weekly account reviews with the Director, Corporate Accounts
  • Deliver highlights of Sales Development Activities
    • Sales Pipeline
    • Financial Forecast
    • Activity from Last Period
    • Planned activity for next period
    • Manage up to date Customer Records on the CRM
  • Submit timely expense reports always adhering to company policies

Travel Expectations

  • Travel from DMT UK office to UK based OEMs and retailers
  • Possible travel within Europe
  • Possible travel to Canada for training

Skill Set

You are an experienced account manager who:

  • Has strong relationships in the Automotive industry; OEM and retailer
  • Has strong sales ability
  • Has minimum 10 years enterprise software sales experience within the Automotive Industry
  • Has an understanding of the Lead Management Process in OEM and Retailer environments
  • Has exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Builds effective long-term relationships with clients
  • Uses a consultative sales approach with prospective clients
  • Works with target clients using a collaborative style
  • Excels working part of a collaborative team
  • Is energetic and enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills with ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions and provide strategic advice and recommendations
  • Demonstrates an understanding of technology and technological solutions and can excel in an IT Solutions company
  • Can develop and maintain an understanding of the internal and external business environment
  • Can assimilate an in-depth knowledge of DMT’s service and product offerings
  • Is able to handle multiple priorities and interact with all levels of the business
  • Can maintain a positive and effective interaction with third party agencies
  • Is disciplined in execution
  • Can motivate and engage others
